Reception & Concierge

Guildford - Part time

We are looking for a professional and reliable Reception & Concierge Officer to be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors. This role combines high-quality front-of-house service with security awareness, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the service desk and access control systems.You will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors, managing calls, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative and security processes to ensure the building remains secure and welcoming at all times.

What you'll do

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience at all times through a professional and welcoming reception service.
  • Greet, register, and direct all visitors, contractors, and staff in line with client security procedures.
  • Manage incoming calls, screening and forwarding appropriately, and handle queries with efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, visitor logs, and key audits.
  • Escort guests and contractors to approved areas, ensuring compliance with access protocols.
  • Support administrative functions for Health & Safety, Fire, and First Aid processes.
  • Assist with contractor management, inductions, and taxi bookings for staff/clients.
  • Ensure daily handovers are completed and premises are secure during office hours.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and take part in Sodexo’s development programmes.

  • Skilled in administration with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and remain professional under pressure.
  • Confident in developing positive relationships with staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Aware of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
