We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mobile Maintenance Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance across a portfolio of client properties within a defined geographical region. You will carry out fault finding, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and minor works, ensuring assets operate reliably and safely.
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a mobile environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service and technical standards.
you'll:
Deliver PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance within set timeframes.
Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and minor works across electrical, mechanical, and fabric assets.
Undertake contractor control duties, including issuing Permits to Work and monitoring workmanship.
Ensure all equipment operates to specified performance standards.
Carry out risk assessments and comply with Safe Systems of Work at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all records are completed in line with company and client requirements.
Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
Carry out like-for-like asset replacements and minor new works.
Maintain tools, PPE, and local stock levels.
Identify opportunities for service improvements, sustainability enhancements, and cost efficiencies.
Essential
Significant experience in reactive and planned electrical maintenance, including fault finding and minor works.
Experience working within FM or building services environments (commercial/office properties preferred).
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, NVQ 2356/2357, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671).
Full UK Driving Licence
IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
Ability to work independently and make decisions within defined parameters.
Desirable
Building Services NVQ or equivalent.
City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
JIB Accreditation.
IPAF / PASMA certification.
Working towards EngTech or IEng status.
