Job Introduction

At Sodexo Live!, we create unforgettable experiences at some of the world’s most iconic venues. We are proud to deliver world-class hospitality at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, and we’re now looking for two motivated Kitchen Porters to join our Back of House team.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the BOH Manager and senior chefs, ensuring all Back of House kitchens are kept clean, organised, safe and fully stocked for each event. You’ll be working across a dynamic, large-scale venue hosting multiple events simultaneously, including matchdays and conferences & events.

You will report directly to the BOH Manager, with an additional reporting line to the Executive Chef.

What You'll Do

  • Follow instructions from the BOH Manager and Senior Chefs

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all BOH and kitchen areas

  • Ensure kitchens and storage areas are organised and well stocked

  • Remove kitchen waste and recycling, disposing of it correctly

  • Adhere strictly to Food Safety, Health & Safety and Sodexo systems at all times

  • Support operations during matchdays and large-scale events

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in kitchen portering or a similar BOH role

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative

  • Resilient, positive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

  • A team player who builds strong working relationships with both permanent and temporary staff
