Workplace Services Manager
Job Introduction
We are looking for someone with high standards to ensure the efficient delivery of the cleaning and catering services and support the frontline teams across site to achieve company standards to the client’s satisfaction and SLA’s.
Role Responsibility
- Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, with full use of company systems.
- Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
- Ensure that all Budget are fully in line with targets and that growth objectives are achieved in full.
- Support with all HR and contractual duties to support the services provided to the client as per the SLA’s.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the soft service operations with a full working knowledge of all the areas/buildings of this large and complex client site.
- Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.
- To take all necessary steps to ensure security of stock and any other areas under the Sodexo’s control, ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.
- To have regular contact with the Operations Manager and to produce any reports as necessary pertaining to current or events and deputise in Operations Managers absence.
- Maintain stock requirements Monitor customer feedback on services and take appropriate action
- Be aware of the condition of equipment, organise repairs/replacements as appropriate ensuring that all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced. Report any faults to line management/client, ensure they are rectified and ensure equipment is not used until safe
- Support Operations manager and in absence of Operations manager deputise ensuring no impact on service delivery
- Responsible for all day-to-day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the soft services within the contract specification to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
- Ensure the Company's accountancy, documentation and administration procedures are carried out to standards and that the necessary weekly returns are completed accurately and sent to the appointed office on time. This may be electronically, paper-based, or both, as instructed.
- To maintain the standards and integrity of the service always offer and Service Level Agreement. To carry out a daily service audit and perform activities detailed in the service offer manual under Key Performance Indicators to the frequency and level required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in managing a multi service operation
- Great team engagement essential
- Ability to develop increasing individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching and training
- Experience of managing a team and developing a strong team ethos
- Strong Knowledge of cleaning and catering delivery
- Financially astute and experienced in managing budgets, stock & consumption
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
- Essential to have a hand on approach and can-do attitude.
- Strong organisation skills, with contingency planning
- To have special regard to the welfare of the establishment staff; and to organise regular and effective staff meetings.

£35,000 - £42,000 Depending on Experience
