As a Welsh Speaking Events and Reception Supervisor at HMRC Cardiff, you'll be passionate about people and enjoy a fast paced busy environment! What you’ll do:
- Being the first face many will see, you’ll be an important role model when it comes to what great customer service will look like. Our business events centre ethos is that of a 5 start hotel so going the extra mile is always key.
- You'll connect visitors and clients with the appropriate spaces for their needs while enforcing strict rules and processes.
- Gain knowledge on the facilities' Audio/Visual equipment, and be on-hand to assist with any AV related enquiries
- Work closely with the event centres' porters, to ensure room set ups and turnarounds are completed efficiently.
- Utilise the online booking system and correspond to email requests/telephone calls in a professional manner.

- Previous experience in a similar role would be great! Possible hotel/meeting events co-ordintion is desirable but if you are someone who is professional and can provide excellent customer service, we can support with the rest!

Main Responsibilities
- To supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Business Event Centre
- To supervisor in the day-today operation of the Main Reception
- To complete monthly team rotas
- To deliver staff team briefings, as required
- To deliver mandatory training modules and site-specific modules as required
- To assist in menu planning, food presentation and meeting room catering service standards.
- To deliver the highest standards of customer service and first point of contact for delegates/visitors
- To deliver a specific standard of guest experience, to meet client specification.
- To undertake training and development modules to all members of the team, as required.
- To collate end of month department data and reports and as requested by FOH Manager.
- To collate information in relation to payroll, as required.

Essential
- Health and Safety Procedures must be always followed.
- Identify the standard/result required for a task and complete it accordingly.
- Experience of the undertaking of conference and events coordination.
- Computer proficient

7:00am - 3:00pm
8:00am - 4:00pm
9:00am - 5:00pm - Flexibility across all shifts will be required
- £14.00 per hour
