Job Introduction

As a Cleaner at Sodexo's Qioptiq – St. Asaph location, you play a pivotal role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and delivering excellent customer service. What you’ll do:
Provide excellence in customer service to meet both Client and Sodexo's satisfaction.
Support the Assistant Manager in managing day-to-day cleaning operations.
Drive customer satisfaction and advocate for customer needs.
Deliver service excellence according to the agreed Service Level Agreement between Sodexo and the Client.
Welcome and provide proactive service excellence to the Client, customers, and team members.
Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to implement and comply with all health and safety, and food hygiene requirements.
Ensure security, housekeeping, stock management, and rotation, COSHH, cleanliness, and tidiness.
Maintain safe working environments across all site areas.
Properly dispose of waste streams following Sodexo and Client policies.
Support other departments and Sodexo business as needed.
Proactively engage with the Client, customers, and Team Members to surpass service levels.
Attend regular 1-2-1 meetings and team meetings.
Be prepared to travel for training, development, and wider Sodexo business support.
Work flexible hours as required by business needs.

What you bring:
Previous work experience in cleaning/customer service.
Good interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication with customers, clients, and team members.
Knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Attention to detail and adherence to standards.
Analytical problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
High levels of personal hygiene and appearance.
Positive approach to learning and identifying own training needs.
Flexible approach to the role.
Clear & concise written work, including report writing.
Exceptional customer service skills.
