Are you an early riser with a flair for cooking and a love for breakfast classics? Join Sodexo as a Weekend Breakfast Chef at 2SFG in Newport, where you'll bring energy and skill to our morning kitchen team. 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality breakfasts that fuel the day for our on-site colleagues. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, care about food presentation, and enjoy creating meals that make people smile—this could be the perfect weekend opportunity for you. 

What You'll Be Serving Up:

  • Start the day right – Craft delicious, high-quality breakfasts that leave a lasting impression, driven by your passion for perfection. 

  • Be the face of flavour—support the front-of-house team by serving great food with warmth, efficiency, and a smile. 

  • Champion cleanliness and safety—maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health, and safety every step of the way. 

  • Contribute to our winning recipe—help foster a positive, energetic, and forward-thinking kitchen environment. 

  • Bring your unique flavour – Share your ideas, explore new techniques, and grow with a team that values creativity and continuous improvement. 

What You Bring:

  • Qualified & Experienced – NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Culinary Arts (or equivalent), with hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments. 

  • Skilled & Organised – Confident using IT and Microsoft Office, with strong communication, time management, and organisational skills. 

  • Culinary Expertise – In-depth understanding of food production techniques, allergen management, and food safety standards, with a commitment to consistency and quality. 

  • Leadership & Collaboration – Proven ability to lead, inspire, and support team members while managing your own performance to a high standard. 

  • Resilient & Detail-Focused – Performs well under pressure, upholds high standards, welcomes feedback, and is always looking for ways to improve.
