We have a vacancy for you to join our amazing family as a Water Hygiene Technician in Melton Mowbray!
Job Purpose:
- To test, maintain, and report the condition of the campus hot and cold water systems in line with the Legionella prevention ACOP and HSG274 technical guidance
Accountabilities:
- Hot & Cold water system temperature checks and monitoring & recording
- Support the collection of water samples
- Maintenance of TMV’s
- Shower head & hose cleans
- Tank inspections and cleans
- Supporting chlorination work
- Following a preventative maintenance program as instructed
- Providing same-day service reports as required
- Ensuring records are maintained
- Flexible to works with and support other team members and client personnel
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by senior management in order to meet the operational requirements of the business.
- To continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position.
- Professional management of working with chemicals including safe disposal

Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience of the undertaking temperature monitoring and flushing activities
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, and iAuditor
- Basis numeracy / literacy skills
- Physically fit and able to perform the role.
- Trained in the use of scaffolding steps and ladder
- Excellent Time Management
- Flexibility
- Great customer facing skills
- Driving licence

- Flexible Mon – Fri 2.5 days a week
