We have a vacancy for you to join our amazing family as a Water Hygiene Technician in Melton Mowbray! 

Job Purpose:

• To test, maintain, and report the condition of the campus hot and cold water systems in line with the Legionella prevention ACOP and HSG274 technical guidance

Accountabilities:

• Hot & Cold water system temperature checks and monitoring & recording
• Support the collection of water samples
• Maintenance of TMV’s
• Shower head & hose cleans
• Tank inspections and cleans
• Supporting chlorination work
• Following a preventative maintenance program as instructed
• Providing same-day service reports as required
• Ensuring records are maintained
• Flexible to works with and support other team members and client personnel
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by senior management in order to meet the operational requirements of the business.
• To continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position.
• Professional management of working with chemicals including safe disposal

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Experience of the undertaking temperature monitoring and flushing activities
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, and iAuditor
• Basis numeracy / literacy skills
• Physically fit and able to perform the role.
• Trained in the use of scaffolding steps and ladder
• Excellent Time Management
• Flexibility
• Great customer facing skills
• Driving licence

Package Description

• 20 hours per week
• £11.54
• Flexible  Mon – Fri  2.5 days a week
