Job Introduction
- 42 hours per week
- 4 on, 4 off rota – 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts, then 4 days off
- £15.30 per hour

Job Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Waste Operative to take responsibility for the day-to-dayefficient movement of waste products out of the factory, ensuringoperations run smoothly and service levels are consistently met. In this keyrole, you will help maintain compliance with agreed business plans whilesupporting the safe, organised, and environmentally responsible management ofwaste.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure efficient waste management and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor, report, and maintain equipment performance.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections as required by processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments on waste distribution and factory-related activities.
- Follow internal operating procedures and foster effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and suppliers.
- Engage in training and proactively support the Facilities Management team with a positive, can-do approach.
What you bring:
- Full FLT licence with electric pallet truck qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing environments.
- Proven people management abilities and effective team leadership.
- Computer literate with a proactive, intuitive, and ‘can do’ approach.
- High personal integrity and commitment to maintaining professional standards.
- Target-driven, adaptable, and an effective team player
