Waste Manager
Location: Speke, Liverpool
Salary: £30,000 - £40,00 based on experience & Excellent range of employee benefits
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Waste professional to join our exceptionally talented staff community at our client’s site in Speke, Liverpool.
As the Waste Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of waste services and waste team on site.
Ensuring that all waste, environmental and H&S legislation to ensure activities are performed in a lawful and compliant manner while maintaining compliance with client specific protocols and SOP’s.
Working closely with both the client and onsite team you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing operations on site.

About You
You will already have held a similar position, preferably within the Pharma or Manufacturing environment.
Experience required:
- Experience in the waste management industry and Hazardous Waste Environment or Contract
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of waste management.
- Experience in project management and implementation of new processes.
- Leadership and people management.
- Strong relationship building ability and presentation skills.
- Operational management experience in the waste management industry.
- Commercial awareness and IT literacy.
- Demonstrate an innovative approach to waste management.
- Experience in effectively managing subcontractors.
- Prior experience in a regulated environment.

- Recognised DGSA Qualification
