As a Ward Hostess Supervisor with Sodexo at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital, Scraptoft Lane, Leicester LE5 1HY, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that directly impacts the health and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do

  • Assist in preparing patient food hygienically, following all given instructions.

  • Engage with patients to help them feel welcome and relaxed during their stay.

  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure food orders match patient/visitor requirements.

  • Keep the pantry clean and tidy, maintaining standards as per the service level agreement and legal/company responsibilities.

  • Support the manager and supervisor in meeting service level agreements and health & safety standards.

  • Complete all required audit and quality standards documentation.

  • Ensure dietary requirements of patients are met.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within cleaning or facilities management.
  • Physical ability to carry out manual aspects of the role.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Professional integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
