Travel Plan Co-ordinator/GSK

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and hard working Travel Plan to support the development, implementation and ongoing management of travel plans across West London for our pharmaceutical client.  This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Travel Plan Coordinator you will be responsible for:

 

  • Providing administrative support to the travel plan programmes across West London, including:
  • Managing active travel lockers and other databases
  • Maintain accurate travel related data for all sites
  • Supporting all dedicated facilities available for cyclists, including cycle parking and showering and changing facilities.
  • Keeping records of travel surveys undertaken and information on staff travel preferences.
  • Keeping records of local traffic surveys undertaken.
  • Keeping maps providing visual representations of geographical spread for where staff lives and travel from to their place of work.
  • Coordinating printing requirements
  • Supporting relevant promotional activities including road shows and advertisement campaigns, utilising RIGHT TURNS travel planning brand, including booking attendees and coordinating logistics
  • Interacting with Client staff at modal road show events, encouraging take up of walking, jogging, cycling, motorcycling, public transport and car sharing ultimately assisting in a reduction of single occupancy car travel.
  • Assist and support the Senior TP Coordinator

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Enthusiasm and passion to share the travel plan message within GSK.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of both internal and external contacts.
  • Travel Planning experience desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to travel between sites.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
