Technical Services Manager (Engineering/Maintenance)
Job Introduction
Sodexo Corporate Services are recruiting a Technical Services Manager with solid experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance to join our prestigious client site in Maidenhead.
As Technical Services Manager you will hold a senior role with Asset Management accountability and management responsibilities for the pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
You will be an effective leader able to motivate and develop a team.
Role Responsibility
As Technical Services Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Effectively manage all Hard Services operations, delivering effective Asset Management services into M&E and Building Fabric
- To consistently deliver the companies “Management Expectations” successfully across all key areas
- Take the lead role in introducing ways of working changes
- To take responsibility for the overall performance of the Hard Services team ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are delivered in accordance with the contract and our clients satisfaction
- Ensure operational, planned and reactive maintenance activities are effectively scheduled and undertaken on time and in accordance with Statutory Legislation
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and Company/Client Health & Safety practices and procedures.
- Review plant and system performance, highlighting solutions in unsatisfactory areas
- Maintain accurate records (ALCOA) of works completed and associated financial costs. Use this information to report to the General Manager and client on a regular basis
The Ideal Candidate
- Engineering Management experience at a senior level and a track record of delivering performance/service improvement.
- Experience in both setting and control of annual budgets relating to all site Hard Services expenditure.
- A recognised Engineering/ Mechanical or Building Engineering qualification
- Experience of successfully delivering against contractual targets, PM schedules and KPI’s
- Extensive experience of delivering and improving performance against contractual SLA’s
- Experience of delivering a service provision on a site where strong permit to work systems are in place
- Extensive experience of managing and delivering improvements through the supply chain engineering service contracts
- Asset Management experience covering administrative, contractual and financial aspects of a facilities management contract.
- Ability and confidence in the operation of MS Office.
- Excellent, clear and confident written skills, presentation skills and report writing. To include monthly performance reports.
