Job Introduction

As Store Person for Sodexo at Sevenoaks School, High street, Sevenoaks, TN13 1HU, you will be the organizational backbone of our catering team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of supplies. You’ll be the go-to person, keeping track of stock and making sure that goods are received, delivered, and properly recorded. Your role is key to maintaining service excellence, following Manual Handling guidelines, and adhering to Health and Safety standards. You'll ensure that work areas run efficiently and report any issues or non-compliances promptly to keep everything on track.

What you do:

  • Maintain operations by receiving items and verifying that the quality and quantity meet the needed specifications, as well as that all goods are stored and handled in accordance with legislative rules and Sodexo policy.
  • Loading, unloading and receiving of deliveries of large amount of heavy lifting and shifting 10 to 20 cages of stock per day
  • General organisation of stores ensuring efficient use of space.
  • Compare incoming and outgoing shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information, invoices verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Incoming and outgoing supplies are compared to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information, invoices are checked, and records of incoming and outgoing shipments are kept.

What you bring:

  • A positive attitude and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • IT literacy with a thorough grasp and competency in using Microsoft packages.
  • Willingness to be open to learning and growing.

Package Description
