Sodexo Live! have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Staffing Manager to join our team at the Fulham Football Stadium.

As Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring we have the correct number of appropriately trained staff on duty at all times. You will manage and deliver all aspects of the Staffing function at the stadium, including labour for match days and events as well as the day to day operations. You will have the ability to understand the needs of our clients and ensure that we deliver to an exact specification. Our clients expect a service second to none, so we expect you to recruit casual staff who have the ability to deliver a superior service that will surpass our client’s expectations.

It's an exciting time to join us and be a part of the eleven-year contract as venue partner for FFC on its new Fulham Pier development. Fulham Pier is becoming one of London’s leading leisure destinations on the banks of the Thames which include restaurants, a Riverside Market, meetings and events spaces, bars and lounges, a basement entertainment venue, a boutique hotel and a spa experience.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has previous experience of recruiting and co-ordinating high volume casual workforces to demonstrate their talents in one of London’s most unique and prestigious venues.

 

 

Role Responsibility

  • Working with the Head of PO, Staffing and Training to deliver casual labour requirements, meeting client expectations
  • Report labour costs in line with forecasts and budget for all labour lines
  • Support the implementation and delivery of the Training  for direct recruits and agency staff
  • Ensure and manage the production of wage forecasts for all match day and non-match day business, reporting both forecast and actual costs and control management in all labour lines (i.e casual labour, staff, transport, accommodation and uniform)
  • Report all Actual Labour Line costs, communicating costs to the Business Managers and Finance Team on a monthly basis.
  • Ensuring all labour lines are captured and accrued on the Commercial Registers
  • Manage the payroll administration function and ensure that all wages are submitted in a timely manner, fully authorised and including employee numbers.  Ensure that wage queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • Work with the Head of PO, Staffing and Training manager in the developing the staffing agency strategy for the forthcoming events
  • Build strong working partnerships with the core agencies to ensure they are delivering against strict KPO;s
  • Ensure that all legal obligations and compliance is adhered to in all activities
  • Work with and develop the staffing team creating clear succession planning and creating a fit for purpose staffing function.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience in a similar role and be confident in the delivery of the recruitment and training of large volumes of casual hospitality staff.  Previous experience of events is also essential.

You will also have:

  • Experience in the management of a budgets, forecasts
  • Recruitment knowledge and experience in terms of process and interview and selection for casual positions
  • Presentation skills to present information appropriately at all levels.
  • Knowledge of HR policy and practice (desirable)
  • Operations experience (desirable)

 

Package Description

The salary is between £35,000 and £40,000 plus access to fantastic benefits!
