Specialist Inventory Management Support & Cleaning Operative

Job Introduction

To provide first line support to GMP operations within Inventory Management, including interaction with GMP systems and GMP materials.  Supporting Clinical and Development material receipt, dispensing, manufacturing and shipping.   Also to provide quality cleaning services to Pfizer GMP facilities.

Role Responsibility

• First Line Operations Support:
• Complete GMP & quality inspections, initial receipt, sampling, dispensing, shipping preparation, management and maintenance of all material types (including hazardous materials) to support both development and clinical activities.
• Responsible for identifying, reporting and supporting the resolution of quality concerns.
• Performing electronic and physical inventory transactions for all material types.
• Support GMP warehouse infrastructure duties to include; warehouse management, cycle counts, stock rotation, transferring, picking, cleaning, destruction/waste management, segregation of materials, etc.
• Follow and understand applicable SOPs/procedures in relation to activities being complete.
• Strict adherence to quality, GMP, safety and environmental standards is required.
• Maintain excellent customer service and assure on time delivery (OTD).
• Duties will exclude situation where preparation and second checks are both carried out by Sodexo team members.
• Automated second checks will form part of the role with exception of:
• Manual GMP second checks for a Sodexo operation should not be supplied by a second Sodexo colleague (i.e. Re-labelling)
• Receiving second checks not to be undertaken.
• Manual second checks for Clinical dispensing to include Clinical consumable orders
• Cycle counts
• Waste
• Representative to attend daily/monthly operational meeting with Pfizer team
• Weekly testing and recording Safety shower and eyewash stations checks
• Weekly operational scales (Non GMP) verification checks
• Daily waste water tank checks.
• Daily FLT/PPT checks
• Support management of non GMP packaging e.g. checks and order requests for drums/boxes etc.
