We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and driven Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team at ACC Liverpool – a world-class events and exhibition venue at the heart of the city's iconic waterfront.
In this exciting and fast-paced environment, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen brigade in delivering innovative, high-quality dishes for a wide variety of events – from conferences and banquets to concerts and exhibitions.

What You'll Do:
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in preparation, presentation, and service.
Support the Head Chef and wider senior team in executing menu development, tastings, and event delivery.
Manage, train and motivate the kitchen brigade – from Junior Sous Chefs to Kitchen Assistants.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost management to meet operational targets.
Drive innovation by staying ahead of culinary trends and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Champion sustainability and waste reduction using LeanPath systems.
What You Bring:
A passion for food, people, and pushing culinary boundaries.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Proven experience in high-volume, quality-driven kitchen environments.
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety, allergens, COSHH, and industry best practices.
