Soft Services Supervisor
Job Introduction
As a Soft Services Supervisor at Sodexo in Avon & Somerset Police HQ You'll supervise Cleaning & Catering services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with your team and our clients daily, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meet!
What you’ll do:
- Support the General Services manager in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring facilities are well maintained and meet all safety and compliance standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities operation.
- Lead and manage a team fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Assist in preparing and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. You will be utilising Kronos and E-Profit.
- To ensure all food service staff are working to maintain and deliver a quality service according to set work schedules and procedures
- To undertake the monitoring of quality control systems e.g. temperatures, job sign off sheets
- To ensure all aspects of the preparation of food service areas and presentation of food is to the notified standard.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction,
- To ensure all food service assistants are in the correct uniform and promote a good company image
- Managing the site security team in line with Sodexo site procedures
- Working with the cleaning team, ensuring the operational aspects of the service is adequately covered.
- Working with the catering team, ensuring excellent service delivery
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, as well as some team leading experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction

Package Description
- 35 hours per week
- SMonday - Friday 7am - 2pm
- £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
