About the role

Frustrated working split shifts, long 12-hour days every day and then working every weekend and bank holidays? We believe in a work-life balance not only for our clients, but our people too and we have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our team as a Site Logistic Driver at Wellington College

To provide our fantastic service you’ll be carrying and delivering catering supplies and hardware to various locations across the site, checking for any damages and carrying out banksman duties as required.

There will be use of an onsite vehicle so it is essential that you have a full driving licence.

Please note that the nature of this role can be physical so it is essential that you comply with statutory health, hygiene, and safety quality standards - we'll provide the training and will support you every step of the way!

Role Responsibility

Responsibility for the timely delivery and collection of food supplies and hardware to various locations within the college grounds.

To assist in the preparation of hot and cold beverages for delivery to various locations across the site

To maintain the company van both internally and externally, including completion of vehicle checklists in line with Health and Safety requirements

To drive safely and in accordance with site

To undertake banksman duties as required and in line with Health and Safety requirement

Communicates well with customers and demonstrates a helpful attitude at all times

Maintains a high standard of dress and personal hygiene

To understand and comply with statutory health, hygiene and safety quality standards.

This includes COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with policy and the law

To attend meetings and training sessions as required

To report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss or damage and take action as may be appropriate or possible

To carry out any reasonable request from any member of the management team within the general scope and purpose of the job

Package Description

  • £10.00 - £10.20 Per Hour
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Sunday 5 out of 7
  • Meals on duty
  • full uniform provided.
