Job Introduction

This is an exceptional role which requires an experienced Director to take responsible for £3million turnover across both hard and soft FM services. As Site Director you will have full accountability for our AstraZeneca Contact based in Macclesfield and the opportunity to utilise your team and maintain strong relationships with our client at the prestigious site.

Role Responsibility

  • Lead Sodexo Representative for the Site with overall accountability and profitability for the delivery of the diverse range of IFM services, required to operate the Site as agreed by the UK Specification
  • Accountable for ensuring the assets managed by Sodexo are safe, legally compliant and fit for business
  • Ensure the effective delivery of all Sodexo services at Macclesfield Works
  • Accountable for £3million turnover and 150 employees
  • Work with the Head of Technical Services to lead the asset management strategy for the Sodexo operations within the UK
  • Manage the Site Sodexo budget / P & L to ensure the agreed targets are met both for Sodexo and AstraZeneca.
  • Fostering long term profitable relationships with the client and negotiating client contracts to increase new business opportunities where possible
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Motivate and lead a high performing team to achieve their objectives and the Sodexo strategy

The Ideal Candidate

  • Track record of success at senior level in a large single site or multi-site role , overseeing the delivery of out-sourced facilities services
  • Chartered engineering qualification
  • Established ability to lead and influence key customer stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members on a multi-site basis or across a large single site
  • Proven experienced of developing profitable relationships within a corporate client
  • The role holder will have a well-developed knowledge of maintenance processes, and the application of best practices and the effective deployment of maintenance strategies in technically complex customer environments
  • Experience of integrated risk management and the methods employed to manage engineering risks, hazards and controls.
  • Membership of appropriate professional body eg BIFM, RICs etc
  • High level of financial acumen
