Services Manager (SM2, Catering & Hospitality contract operations)

Job Introduction

We’re seeking an accomplished and commercially aware soft FM/catering & hospitality manager to join our high performing team in a profitable contract where we truly work in partnership with our client.  An exciting time ahead as we look to improve the current facilities on site

As Services Manager, you'll have accountability and responsibility for the day to day management, co-ordination and control of all activity, as set out in the contract

Role Responsibility

• Maintain and develop a positive working culture and environment for Defence segment colleagues through sound leadership, effective communication and delegation.
• Manage client relationships and expectations.
• Manage all aspects of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance.
• Company Compliance. ensure that the company/contract accountancy, documentation, audits and administration procedures are carried out to the company standard.
• Legislative compliance. Ensure that all aspects of the business are conducted in accordance with all relevant statutory requirements and Codes of Practice.
• Have full control over the profit & loss account, including the proper control of costs and resources.
• Optimise sales, marketing and opportunities for organic growth of services.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience of soft FM operations
• Proven experience of managing long-term client relationships
• Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team
• Qualification or relevant experience in Business Management.
• Management knowledge of HSWA, IOSH and COSHH. 
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Computer literate
• Commercial awareness

Please note;  this is a 12 months fixed term contract or for internal colleagues this could be a secondment opportunity with line manager approval
