Job Introduction

Job Purpose

We currently have an opportunity for a Travel Plan & Parking Coordinator to undertake general specific car park and travel management duties. Role Responsibility

 

Main Duties

 

  • To monitor and administrate the car parking for the sites.
  • Be the point of contact for parking issues and permit applications.
  • Monitor travel plan email box and respond to queries
  • Maintain travel & parking updates (upload documents etc.)
  • Send parking communications out to the businesses
  • Responsible for updating the Epsom campus  vehicle registration database
  • Responsible for recording offenders and escalating non-compliance to the appropriate line manager
  • To monitor visitor parking spaces and there use
  • To monitor car share spaces and there correct use
  • Issue parking permits and vehicle entry hardware
  • Carry out vehicle counts and surveys as requested by projects
  • Liaise with B/Heads on departmental allocation

 

Parking Plan

  • Collate business unit review bi-annually
  • Update & Issue bi-annual parking plan

 

General

  • Work with graphics and printers on plan, notices, permits etc.
  • Convene `Travel & Parking` focus group meetings.
  • Assist with shuttle bus issues and complaints.
  • Assist with other travel planning initiatives and measures

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or “What it will look like when you are doing the job well”

  • People adhering to the travel and parking plan
  • Database is up to date and all information require to administer the  plan is in place
  • Clear & regular communication with stakeholders

 

 

 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

 

 

  • Previous administrative  experience
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT Skills particularly MS Office experience
  • Good organization skills
  • Previous experience of working within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Facilities Management experience – desirable
  • Ability to communicate with people of all levels within the business
