Senior Venue Sales Marketing Manager

Job Introduction

We have an amazing opportunity for a talented Marketing Manager with an endless supply of energy and creative passion and a love of creatively telling stories to help to bring our brand to life!

You will support the Marketing Director to drive our Venue Sales positioning as the market leading sales channel for conferences & events in the UK&I.  You will drive Sodexo Prestige Venues and Events awareness internally and externally with strong focus on digital sales, account-based marketing and acquisition.

The role will require you to work with many different stakeholders across our portfolio of prestigious venues and events.

Role Responsibility

You will:

  • Develop and lead overarching digital marketing strategy and approach, including: social media, SEO, email marketing, website development and management of agencies to optimize organic search, identify issues and opportunities, maximize organic and paid lead generation across venue website and catering sales page
  • Create content strategy and recommend visual content, photography, and video for campaigns, social and sales collateral and partner with internal sales hub, local venue sales or marketing managers on development of virtual, digital, and print collateral, centralising production and print services
  • Write and design key central communications and case studies in partnership with sales hub and venues.
  • Partner with Venue Director and venue marketing managers to conduct market competitive analysis and provide future high-level recommendations, based on findings.
  • Partner with digital team, external agencies and sales teams to launch and accelerate marketing automation capabilities.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be working across twenty prestigious venues covering sports, major events and hospitality so previous experience within the sector is essential. Proven experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver successful marketing execution to diverse venues is also highly desirable as you will need to be able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.

You will:

  • Be up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, measurement, data management and the C&E and hospitality market        
  • Have people management experience
  • Have knowledge of Salesforce and account-based marketing for the purposes of customer segmentation and pulling data for campaigns
  • Be able to demonstrate strong analytical and data-driven thinking
  • Have an expert knowledge on GDPR to ensure compliance with data management

Package Description

For your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £55,000 plus fantastic benefits.
