Senior Staffing Co-Ordinator
Job Introduction
Sodexo Live have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Staffing Co-Ordinator to join our first-class team at Ascot Racecourse.
You will play a key role within the HR & Staffing function and will be accountable for the staffing of your allocated account, which will include planning and rostering casual labour, forecasting labour costs, manging you own labour accounts and working closely with agency partners to develop the skill base of our Raceday & Event Casual workforce.
You will be working as part of the HR & Staffing team, at Ascot Racecourse where we are committed to providing our guests with an outstanding experience, whether they come to race, hold a business meeting or host a private dinner.

Role Responsibility
- To ensure that all race days and events are fully staffed with the highest calibre and skill level, to the agreed ratios provided by the operational team
- Forecast and report actual costs within agreed timeframes and with a high level of accuracy
- Ensuring that best practice procedures and HR policies are consistently applied
- To manage and respond to all agency timesheet queries and ensure accuracy of all account data
- To drive the engagement of direct casual workers for all events
- To plan and roster for all key events using the Humanforce Time and Attendance system
- Engage with agencies to build rapport with representatives to ensure they understand our requirements and are committed to deliver
- To support your own staffing accounts, which may include Hospitality & Fine Dining, Retail, Boxes, Cellar or Logistics
- Ensure all labour is accurately planned and forecasted in line with labour productivity initiatives and budgets, to meet company and client objectives
The Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate
You will ideally have previous experience of working in an events or service led environment. You will have good attention to detail and a keen interest in developing your experience with HR & Staffing. You will be motivated as well as adaptable and be able to manage a workload of different tasks simultaneously.
The role holder is expected to work 5 days over 7 so it is essential that you are available to work so weekends and all race days.
The ideal candidate will have experience within an Events or Service led industry.
