We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Regional Account Manager to lead multiple client contracts across diverse sectors including FMCG, Energy & Resources, Food Manufacturing, and Pharma. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader with a strong background in facilities management and catering to oversee a £12m+ portfolio and shape the delivery of world-class services across multiple sites.
As a Senior Regional Account Manager you'll:
- Lead and develop a team of managers across multiple client sites, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the key client contact, building strong and lasting relationships while proactively identifying opportunities for growth and service enhancement.
- Oversee delivery of all services with a particular focus on catering, ensuring quality, compliance, and safety standards are consistently exceeded.
- Drive operational and financial performance, managing budgets, P&L, and profitability to achieve growth and EBIT targets.
- Ensure governance, resilience planning, and adherence to all HSE standards, achieving Sodexo’s Zero Harm objectives.
- Lead business transformation through innovation and technology, enhancing service delivery and workplace experience.
- Create and implement account development plans aligned with Sodexo’s STEP model and strategic priorities.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing management team, building strong succession pipelines and promoting a culture of performance and recognition.
- Provide insights and analysis to support client decision-making, particularly around workspace utilisation, consumer behaviour, and future technology needs.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in account or operations management across multi-client, multi-site portfolios.
- Strong background in food services, catering accounts make up over 50% of the portfolio.
- Experience managing large and diverse teams with full P&L accountability.
- Demonstrable success in client retention, contract performance, and business development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills with executive-level presence.
- Sound knowledge of IFM (Integrated Facilities Management) models and exposure to major providers.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as IWFM Level 3–4 or IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
