Senior Operational Manager
Job Introduction
At HMP Addiewell, we run the full prison operations which ranges from residential officers and other operational staff across the jail, integrated Facilities Management, rehabilitation services, resettlement programmes, education and skills development, vocational training, workshops and industries.

Under the guidance and vision of a new passionate Director HMP Addiewell is facing into a new exciting chapter whilst ensuring that we meet Sodexo’s high standards and those of our client; Scottish Prison Service.
Working to the Deputy Prison Director HMP Addiewell is now seeking an experienced Strategic Operational Manager to oversee the running and everyday delivery within one of our key senior leadership functional head posts. ensuring that the highest standard of prisoner care and secure prisoner management is at the centre of everything you do.
The successful candidate will have: ;
- A clear and demonstrable understanding of what makes a good leader, the skills required and the ability to motivate and engage staff and prisoners
- A clear understanding of the demands of an exceptionally complex and busy operational environment and the need to bring improvmentin every day tasks

- Ability to manage and develop key stakeholder relationships
- Previous experience of operating at senior functional management level within the criminal justice system

Hours of work
37.5 per week - Monday to Friday with some flex available
There will be an expectation to be on call 1 week in 4 which may include the weekend
