Senior Conference and Banqueting Manager

We partner with the ACC Liverpool Group where a variety of national and international conferences; public and trade exhibitions and entertainment events are held.

We are looking for a Senior Conference and Banqueting Manager who will be responsible for the conference & event function, reporting to the Head of Operations. You will be leading, developing and motivating a high-performing team to deliver exceptional events which is the core objective of this role.

You will work with the wider events and catering team, develop and maintain all aspects of the events offered to customers, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry and lead with innovation and brand relevance. You will have involvement in client relations, H&S, finance, HR, sales and planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong organiser who can adapt to a wide range of fast paced environments and be able to deliver events efficiently and on budget. You will be experienced in consistently delivering events and managing events teams.


Role Responsibility

  • Support the Head of Operations to ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded
  • Ensure that all members of the operations team are fully aware of and achieve their objectives
  • Communicate with Head of Operations in respect of personal development, training, appraisals and long term objectives
  • Support the Head of Operations with financial forecasting and labour management
  • Ensure all purchasing policies are followed when ordering any stock items or products and that these policies are adhered to by the rest of the operations team.

Package Description

£30,000pa + great benefits

Location: ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock


Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 5/7 with flexibility to include some evenings and weekends
