About the role  

Hospital stays can be quite a stressful time for our patients and their loved ones, a simple smile and high quality service can put a patient at ease and make all the difference!   

At Sodexo, our Security Officers are vital in making sure that we provide a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff at our hospitals. 

You'll carry out patrols around the hospital, operate the security/CCTV control room. Assisting police and management during investigations and write reports detailing incidents and activities. 

A few things about you 

This is a customer facing role so customer service experience would be key. We need someone with good verbal and written communication skills, who will be empathetic towards patients and visitors but also be able to investigate and liase with the police as required.  

You must hold an SIA front-line DS licence and have experience working in a similar role.

If you hold an SIA CCTV licence great! If not we still want to hear from you, course and licence will be provided. 

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be compliance procedures, site specific guidelines and regulations to follow so it is vital that you manage and maintain all site records and incident reporting.

Package Description

• £10.37 Per Hour (with a 20%-night enhancement)
• 38.5 hours a week – Shift Rotation 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights, 12 hours shifts.
