Location: Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 2AR
Working Hours: 42 hours per week (4 on 4 off rota)
Hourly Rate: £13.23 - £13.69
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Join Sodexo as a Security Officer at our Unilever Seacroft site and be part of a team that plays a vital role in keeping our people, property, and assets safe. If you’re a professional, vigilant and physically capable individual with a current SIA licence, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the site remains secure while delivering excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, highly observant, and values routine and structure.

Main Responsibilities

Perform regular patrols and inspections around the site
Monitor access and egress points, verifying credentials and ensuring safety compliance
Respond promptly to security incidents and site emergencies
Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents in line with procedures
Operate security systems, including CCTV if qualified
Follow site-specific safety and operating procedures
Support the enforcement of health and safety policies on-site

Ideal Candidate

Holds a valid SIA Manned Guarding Licence (essential)
First Aid qualification (essential)
CCTV Monitoring (desirable)
Minimum age 18 (legal requirement for SIA)
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks and extended periods on patrol
Confident communicator who can remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
Good understanding of written instructions and standard operating procedures
Holds a full UK driving licence (essential due to site requirements)
Able to pass 5-year background vetting
