Security Officer

What you’ll do: 

  • Maintaining Daily Occurrence Book
  • Ensuring all staff sign in and out of site
  • Issuing visitor passes
  • Management of contractor access
  • Liaising with on site staff about deliveries/mail
  • Booking of meeting rooms
  • Covering for the Security officer during lunch breaks/annual leave.
  • Liaising with on site staff about all other occurrences as required.
  • Liaising with Sodexo RSM about all relevant information/occurrences
  • Collating stores orders for cleaning staff

What you bring: 

  • Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities  

  • Over 18 years of age 

  • SIA License 

  • Excellent communication and awareness skills 

  • Experience in working in a similar role 

  • Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures 

  • Due to the nature of the site, The premises are residential units which house ex-offenders in the community- This means that this role is subject to a full DBS clearance.

Package Description

Please note - age restriction applies for this position, so candidates must be over the age of 18+ and have a valid in date SIA license

  • Monday-Friday only- a perfect work-life balance
  • Shift pattern: 7am-5pm 
  • £10.42 per hour 
  • Annual leave April - April
