Lead security operations at one of Diageo’s most critical manufacturing sites.

Sodexo is recruiting a Security Manager to oversee operations at our flagship site in Leven, Fife—a high-traffic, high-priority location that plays a key role in Diageo’s production network.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support a professional on-site security team across the Leven and Cameron Bridge sites

• Oversee security operations at the East and West Gatehouses, ensuring effective access control, vehicle movement management, and site safety

• Work closely with two experienced deputy managers responsible for rostering and team performance, allowing you to focus on training, compliance, and client relationships

• Support scheduling and operational flexibility—being hands-on where needed, particularly in the early months of onboarding

• Act as a visible presence across both sites (security vehicle provided), with the ability to adapt to ad-hoc operational needs

• Liaise directly with the site leadership team and stakeholders, including a dotted line to the Security Director, to manage risk, reporting, and site security plans

• Deliver audits, manage incident response, and ensure the team meets compliance standards, training requirements, and SIA licensing obligations

What you bring:

• Valid SIA license – essential

• 5+ years’ experience in the security sector, with at least 1 year in a gatehouse or manufacturing security leadership role

• Proven experience managing large teams and navigating complex personalities and team dynamics

• Strong scheduling and rostering knowledge, ideally with experience in managing traffic flow (LVG experience beneficial)

• Adaptable and proactive, with a hands-on approach to operational needs

• Comfortable engaging directly with clients, presenting security plans, and contributing to strategic risk management

• Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites using the provided security vehicle

• Willingness to maintain a site presence once weekly after onboarding, with flexibility to increase presence when necessary
