Security Manager

Managing a team of Security Guards, you will deliver excellence in a challenging and changing environment within a prestige corporate setting, ensuring that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

Role Responsibility
- To deliver Security services in line with: BS7499 standards, SIA regulations, Internal Company Policies and Procedures and Customer KPI’s
- Drive Zero Accident Mindset culture through the Security teams
- Continuous improvement in operational delivery and efficiency
- Compliance with BS7499 and SIA regulatory requirements
- Drive positive change management
- Operationally manage delivery of the agreed service levels.
- Manage your team including distribution of daily rotas, daily briefings/roll call, administration and holiday management.
- Monitor and control of Security Officer daily duties and actions to ensure compliance and maintain high standards
- Lead the security team by fostering team spirit and co-operation, the encouragement of open expression of differing ideas and opinions and ensuring resolution.
- Develop and deliver training to ensure training needs are identified and appropriate training & development is delivered.
- Manage and develop SOP’s and appropriate compliance documentation sets across the security team
- Regular auditing of all Security practices and process
- Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment processes
- Promote a secure and safe working environment on site through the implementation and continuous improvement of agreed Health and Safety actions.
- Act as primary point of contact for Incident Management, ensuring that incidents are correctly managed and escalated as per client specifications.
- Complete the required Incident reports in the event of an incident, focusing on quality and timely reporting.
- Ensure that any complaints are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
- To establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
- Manage the provision of CCTV, access control systems and alarm systems.
- Ensure that all equipment provided to assist security is fully
The Ideal Candidate
You will hold a valid SIA badge and previously managed a team (preferably in security).
You will be an excellent communicator and possess good influencing skills.
Package Description
£35,000-£40,000
8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
