Role Responsibility
This role involves proactively targeting sales to drive the Conference and Events sales pipeline for Everton Football Club whilst managing the sales team to work effectively and efficiently
- Responsible for management of client Main reception and internal bookings
- Manage Events sales team and processes
- Responsible for marketing and the control of the marketing budget, liaising with media sources and central marketing. Managing the PR calendar and activities and reporting each month activity and proactive actions
- Manage relationships with Unit client marketing manager and digital manager, through website and all marketing activities to client standards and specifications
- Responsible for relationships with Agents, Corporate business including local trade associations and Sodexo
- Mystery shoppers including investigating reports, reviewing standards, monitoring standards and performance, actioning feedback with effective and staged planning.
- Managing internal database management, chase, post event follow up, correspondence, invoicing, debt and content such as menus, floor plans etc.
- Offsite communication including Sodexo central sales and marketing managers, clients, external marketing through ‘Prestige Venues and Events’ website
- Produce an annual sales and marketing strategy for the unit by the end of May each year to include a marketing plan, objectives and FAM trips.
- Responsible for timely completion of Employee Personal Assessment EPA(appraisals) and Personal Development Plans (PDP), Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Optimo, Sodexo Learning Centre (SLC) and local training .
- Customer feedback including survey shack, comps and complaints which may require further investigation, review of issues, action plan and key re-training to prevent a re-occurrence
- On site communication including internal marketing including events, client meeting and event requirements and weekly update of client website
- Pass office audit which includes general housekeeping for stationary & postage, client files, wipe boards with meaningful data, archiving, function summary sheets, requesting deposits and taking responsibility to ensure all final balances are received prior to events taking place

- Sales Management and Marketing practice in same or similar professional sales and marketing background
- Understanding of the local market conditions and competition
