Sales Coordinator - Venues & Events

Job Introduction

We are now looking to recruit someone to support our business growth; the person needs to be customer focused with an interest in the events and hospitality industry. This person will contribute to the success of the team by handling all enquiries that come through the Central Hub. The Hub supports all the venues and events across the Sodexo Sports and Leisure segment.  The enquiries come through via phone, emails or live chat and we are looking for someone who can optimise those by promoting our range of venues and events.

Role Responsibility

  • To develop excellent relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to promote the range of Conference and Events to new and existing clients
  • Utilise the CRM system and record information
  • To respond to all enquiries by phone, email, live chat or website in the most efficient and effective way
  • Work to Service Level Agreements
  • Participate in any sales initiatives to support venue sales team
  • To maintain and demonstrate high levels of product knowledge and be able to confidently discuss the range of Conference and Events we offer.
  • Build an understanding or key markets and suitable venues
  • Help produce marketing collateral

The Ideal Candidate

  • Gained strong customer service skills in a phone based role
  • Working to Service Level Agreements or targets in a phone based environment
  • Ability to be able to sell and uncover potential opportunities with customers
  • Ideally experience gained with the hospitality or events industry or at least enthusiasm to learn
  • Computer literate and ideally used a database or CRM system previously
  • Self motivated and positive attitude

Package Description

£21,000 + Bonus (up to £2,000) + Benefits
