In this fast paced yet exciting role you will oversee a range of operational logisitics for the venue from full retail operation & cellars management to room set up.
You will be an experienced retail manager ideally with experience of working in a similar set up and complex venue with a number of bars/retail outlets. You will have an understanding of the demands of working on busy match days and events and be able to lead and motivate your retail team to deliver excellent customer services to a high standard.
Role Responsibility
- Focus overall on retail sales and cellar operation across full site, driving retail revenues and controlling stock to achieve gross profit percentage
- Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation
- Ensure retail areas are clean and operational ready on both match/event days and non-match/event days
- To be responsible for the casual labour spend within their department
- To work with the Talent Manager to recruit, train and motivate a team of casual staff

The Ideal Candidate
- Proven leadership skills to lead and motivate a team
- Previous track record of catering/retail employment in a similar role
- Proven experience in stock management, labour spend control and customer services
- Competent IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety
- Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate
Package Description
Salary is up to £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package.
Role is 40 hours a week, covering events and match days when needed also
