Retail Category Manager

Job Introduction

As a Retail Category Manager at Sodexo, working from the comfort of your own home, you are more than just a business strategist. What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Retail Category Manager in defining and implementing RPG and BIF2G category strategies.
  • Maintain planograms to optimise product placement and support the expansion of categories.
  • Partner with suppliers to introduce new products and innovations.
  • Ensure alignment of Categories, Ranges, and Planograms to Internal Branded Services.
  • Manage the integrity of Sodexo’s brand portfolio systems and tools.
  • Work with Finance to evaluate and monitor brand performances, including client and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in building and maintaining the recipe and product database (DRIVE) for RPG and BIF2G.

What you bring:
  • Proven experience as an assistant category manager or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of category management and marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in process support and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships to increase sales and profitability.
  • Drive for sustainable growth and development.

Circa £35,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + Excellent benefits package
