Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! are currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to work at Bateaux London and support the team to deliver a world class guest experience on our beautiful cruises along the River Thames and at our stunning Pier Bar on the Embankment.

Bateaux London is London’s best restaurant on the water. Situated on the River Thames we offer dining experiences, special events and private hire functions. It's a unique venue where you can experience the vibrance, majesty and unmatched views of the city from a gloriously different perspective.

We are looking for a positive, passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Restaurant Manager who is skilled in customer experience,  good at situational decision making and have a great eye for detail. You will thrive on a challenge and have strong interest in really making a difference.

We can be found at Embankment pier so are centrally located, across the road from Embankment tube station and only a short walk to nearest night tube stations Waterloo and Westminster.

A very exciting £1,500 retention bonus is also being offered, with £500 payable in January 2023, and the £1000 balance in September 2023

Role Responsibility

• Assist in the effective operation of Bateaux London cruises
• Manage a team of FOH supervisors and service delivery team
• Operationally deliver cruises to an exceptionally high standard with assistance from FOH and BOH teams
• Stimulate upselling and revenue generating setting targets to the team.
• Ensure that all accountable staff are adequately trained and skilled to the required level

The Ideal Candidate

• Solid experience as restaurant manager in a high volume, quality restaurant environment.
• Able to communicate effectively through written form of communication
• Excellent spoken English
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Cash handling experience.
• High standards of personal presentation 

Package Description

to £36,000pa + £1,500 retention bonus & excellent benefits

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 5/7 Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
