Job Title: Quality Assurance and Induction Hub Manager
Location: HMP Peterborough
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Quality Assurance and Induction Hub Manager to lead on the quality assurance of education, skills, and work provision at HMP Peterborough. You will also oversee the delivery and development of the education induction process for all new residents. This is a key leadership role focused on driving continuous improvement, supporting learner progression, and ensuring high standards across all areas of provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full induction process for residents engaging in education and skills programmes.

  • Oversee and implement quality assurance processes across the department, including the Quality Assurance Calendar.

  • Monitor learner progress and ensure accurate data tracking via platforms such as Curious and CMS.

  • Contribute to Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and preparation for internal and external audits (e.g. Ofsted).

  • Manage performance and development within the induction team.

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to uphold standards and promote rehabilitation through education.

About You:
Essential:

  • A full teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed), or willingness to work towards.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or educational leadership.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to rehabilitation and inclusive education.

  • Ability to work proactively, manage priorities, and support a high-performing team.

Desirable:

  • Assessor or Internal Verifier qualification.

  • Experience working within a custodial or secure environment.

  • A recognised leadership and management qualification (or willingness to undertake).
