Project Manager

Job Introduction

Job Title: Project Manager 

Location: No Fixed Location

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent - 40 hours per week

Salary: Competitive Salary plus bonus and Sodexo benefits

 

Role Purpose

The Project Managerleads one of Sodexo’s South Cluster operations, holding full accountability foroperational delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance. This roleensures service excellence, compliance, and innovation across multiple sites,acting as the primary representative for our client and a key memberof the Allenby Management Team.

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across a South Cluster.
  • Deliver against contractual, financial, and performance objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main liaison with Unilever, maintaining strong, strategic relationships.
  • Ensure all services meet SLAs, KPIs, and contractual standards.
  • Represent Sodexo professionally at senior client and stakeholder meetings.

Operational & Financial Performance

  • Oversee integrated FM service delivery, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, P&L, and forecasting to achieve financial targets.
  • Drive year-on-year improvement in health, safety, environment, and client satisfaction metrics.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional management team.
  • Shape and execute people plans to support growth and succession.
  • Champion a high-performance culture aligned with Sodexo’s values.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and governance standards.
  • Manage contractual changes, mitigate risks, and identify commercial opportunities.

 

Key Metrics

  • Revenue growth and EBIT delivery
  • Client satisfaction and retention
  • HSE performance and compliance
  • Operational efficiency and labour productivity

 

Person Specification

Essential

  • Proven leadership in large-scale operations or project management (FM, catering, or related services).
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L accountability (>€10m turnover).
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading teams through change in complex environments.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable

  • Experience in the Defence sector or large project environments.
  • Background in matrix organisations or multi-site operations.

 

Additional Information

  • Occasional travel and flexibility in working hours are required.
  • Must comply with Sodexo and client policies on safety, ethics, and performance.
