Job Introduction

We have a new position available due to internal progression for a Project Manager to join the Sodexo Team at Ascot Race Course, this fantastic venue offers a truly unique working environment. The role involves managing projects relating to all the Sodexo services on site from hospitality, retail, and events.

For over 40 years we have been providing bespoke catering and hospitality services for sports stadia, racecourses, visitor, attractions, historic venues, major events and premium airline lounges. Role Responsibility

Overseeing the planning and execution stages of projects across the site you will support the Head of Operations, ensuring business outcomes are met within budget. This role involves putting tenders together, establishing costs, developing processes, communicating across the business and demonstrating return on investment. Working with departments from logistics, catering and events you will manage a Cap Ex budget and ensure projects across the venue are managed efficiently. This is an extremely varied role, suitable for someone with a passion and interest in key industry trends, who can understand best in class and innovation within the catering and events industry.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Presentation skills to present information appropriately at all levels
  • Previous project management experience
  • Competent use of MS programmes
  • Ability to balance a diverse working schedule
  • Experience with CAD planning
  • Flexibility to work across race days and events

Desirable

  • Previous project management experience of large scale public events
  • Operations experience
  • Management of budgets and forecasts

Up to £35,000 + Bonus + Benefits
