Project Director (FM)

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee a range of Facilities Management (FM) programmes and projects across multiple clients and regions. This role is key to ensuring service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio. You will also lead and support a team of project managers, driving performance, innovation, and client satisfaction.
As a Project Director you'll:
Manage and deliver multiple FM projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget.
Maintain and develop consistent processes, procedures, and governance frameworks to support service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including CDM and Building Regulations.
Manage both client and internal (Sodexo) budgets for OPEX and CAPEX projects.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication and project updates.
Analyse project performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency.
Share best practices and ensure consistent service delivery across all projects and sites.
Oversee contractor management and ensure all safety and compliance standards are met.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in Facilities Management or an integrated FM project management environment.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Project, or other project management software.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards, building regulations, and compliance frameworks.
Able to manage multiple projects and teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
