HMP Lowdham Grange are recruiting for a Programmes Manager (Offending Behaviour)  to join their team.  As the Programmes Manager (Offending Behaviour) you will oversee and co-ordinate offending behaviour programmes within the prison. You will help manage the programmes team and have direct line management to non-psychologist treatment managers. With an eye for detail and interpersonal skills you will ensure all staff within the programmes team can access and complete training by the interventions services to ensure successful delivery of programmes. You will collaborate with and support treatment managers in making decisions about treatment. You will also work with HMPPS external stakeholders to set and achieve key performance targets

Main Responsibilities

● To operationally ensure that Offending Behaviour Programmes are delivered – Suitable rooms are available, suitable staff are recruited and trained.
● To promote Programmes across the wider prison
● To work with HMPPS external stakeholders to set the delivery expectations (KPT) for the year
● To be responsible for the KPT being achieved.
● To identify training and development needs within the department to ensure the successful delivery of Programmes
● To work with the Learning and Development Team to ensure Programmes Awareness training is offered to all staff.
● To support Treatment Managers in making decisions about how to prioritize treatment.
● Responsible for the successful achievement of the audit targets, known as the Interventions Integrity Framework (IIF).
● To chair the Accredited Interventions Management (AIM) Team meetings on a monthly basis
● To provide Line Management to Non-Psychologist Treatment Managers and support them in developing as Managers
● To form part of the Management Team for the Psychology Department to drive the ethos of the department within the team and the wider prison.
● Responsible for recruitment to the Programmes Team at all levels.

The Ideal Candidate
 
  • Knowledge of Offending Behaviour Programmes and working in a Prison or Probation Setting where Offending Behaviour Programmes are delivered. 
  • Desirable but not essential to have experience of delivery of Offending Behaviour Programmes
  • Management experience
