Job Introduction
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented ProductionCleaning Operative to join our team in Swindon,ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across allproduction areas. You’ll build effective relationships within both the companyand client organisation, developing an understanding of priorities and specificneeds while keeping customers informed of any changes. Being proactive andresponsive, you’ll seek information from across the business to meetrequirements and take action to improve service delivery or share best practicewhere identified. You’ll also comply with all company, client, and statutoryregulations relating to Health & Safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, andCOSHH, maintaining awareness of workplace hazards and following all guidelinesfor safe working.
What you'll do:
- Complete all scheduled cleaning tasks as directed by the Hygiene Supervisor, following approved methods, task cards, and compliance training.
- Adhere to all company and client policies, including housekeeping, infection control, security, and colour-coding procedures.
- Undertake all required training and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
- Always wear the company uniform and use the specified personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any faults with cleaning machinery, equipment, or building defects promptly to the Hygiene Supervisor.
- Carry out any reasonable requests from the Hygiene Supervisor to support the smooth delivery of the cleaning service
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service in prestigious or pharmaceutical environments, with a strong focus on professionalism and client care.
- Trained and qualified to perform duties in line with legislative, statutory, and GMP requirements, maintaining compliance and safety at all times.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills with the ability to handle feedback, resolve issues calmly, and work effectively with others.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, able to prioritise tasks, multitask efficiently, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented individual with a flexible, can-do attitude committed to delivering exceptional service standards.
