Product Manager
Job Introduction
There is a vacancy for a full-time Product Manager within the Product Marketing Department at our Camberley Offices in Surrey. This role will champion our new Money Boost product within the business, to the market and stakeholder organisations. The role is to manage the full product lifecycle of designated products and ensure the product is competitive in chosen markets to maximise revenue, profitability and business volume.
Role Responsibility
The Product Manager will recommend technical and commercial product propositions, including marketing mix, competitive product positioning, cost analyses, sales forecasting and ROI calculations to build business cases for propositions. They will work with key internal and external stakeholders to evolve the Money Boost product to maximise revenue, profitability and business volume.
Being part of our 80 strong staff, the Marketing Team as a whole totals 12, of which Product forms 6. The offices are conveniently located close to Camberley Town Centre, with parking provided, plus lots of other benefits that make Sodexo Benefits & Rewards somewhere people like to work.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in product management within preferably a technology environment in a B2B or B2C business
- Recognised professional qualifications in marketing / research / project management
- Ability to make comparative judgements across complex data sets to create compelling product propositions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to identify and manage relationships with suppliers and commercial partners
- Ability to manage research projects and external agencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Strong organisation skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and plan your own workload.
- Demonstrable initiative and enthusiasm
- Solid commercial judgement
Qualifications - A combination of one or more of the following:
- Ideally a marketing, research or business graduate with experience in product development.
- Recognised professional qualification in one or more of: marketing / research / project management is desirable.
- Background in benefits/rewards and/or financial services preferable but not essential
