Head of Pricing
Job Introduction
As a Pricing Analyst at Sodexo, working remotely, you will take the lead in preparing and accurately pricing all elements of IFM bids.
Preferably you will have an area of subject matter expertise delivering the technical element of FM modelling.
Joining an experienced and established team you will have the autonomy to oversee and deliver the end-to-end process for a wide range of IFM bids.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to showcase their Facilities Management and Finance skills and experience in the Private Sector market place throughout UK&I.
To be considered for this role you must have an established background within facilities management pricing and working with large amounts of data.
Through this role and the wider work you will play an active part in, you will gain exposure across the business, whilst collaborating with a diverse range of industry experts.
This role will report into the Head of Finance and will be a 2ic to this role.

What you’ll do:
- Work with Business Development Managers & Directors to influence bid strategy on complex/must win bids. Supports and reviews output from simple and medium complexity bids.
- Takes the lead in preparing and accurately pricing all elements of IFM bids,
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities throughout the bid process.
- Demonstrates numeracy via appropriate use of a variety of statistical analysis techniques.
- Demonstrates an ability to complete complex customer return formats
- Manages the pricing team and demonstrates an ability to develop their skills/outputs
- Challenge the subject matter experts in their solution and assumption modelling
- Bring to the business innovative and creative thinking when it comes to designing compelling sustainable bid solutions
What you bring:
- Can manage own workload and those of others on a bid, plus that of an estimating team
- Can confidently communicate complex bids and concepts to non-finance team members(e.g. commercial models, assumptions, risks and opportunities ) verbally, in writing and using visual presentations
- Is an active member of the Pricing & Sales Team and develops good working relationships with SME's and Service Operations and with customers and Senior Management
- Demonstrates commitment by working flexibly (travel and extra hours) as required and leads the team to maximise overall output
- Demonstrates an ability to produce the required output, on time and to the appropriate accuracy and clarity
- Leads the process of change
- Understands customer requirements by working with the customer on bids and knows what's typical for different market sectors
- Leads meetings and develops the skills of others to manage meetings
- Ensures clarity and develops the skills of others to do the same, takes a leading role in improving our models and/or presentation methods
- Experience of integrated facilities management delivery or pricing
- Can challenge with humility to drive our thinking
