Contract: Full Time, Monday-Friday
As a Porter atSodexo in Dublin 1, you will join the Porter services team, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.

What you’ll do:
- Carry out daily portering duties such as moving furniture, equipment, and supplies between locations.
- Follow assigned rotas and complete manual handling tasks as directed.
- Set up rooms for meetings or events (e.g., tables, chairs, AV equipment).
- Assist with deliveries, stock movements, and general logistics across the site or its locations.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to your Supervisor.
- Use manual handling techniques and equipment safely, following training and site procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety regulations.
- Support other departments within Sodexo when needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Be punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and behaviour.
- Carry out any reasonable duties requested by the Supervisor or Site Manager.
What you bring:
- Previous portering, facilities, or manual handling experience preferred, but not required
- Basic understanding of health and safety and manual handling principles (training provided).
- Physical fitness and ability to move heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Good communication, timekeeping, and a helpful attitude.
- Flexible, respectful, and a strong team player.
- Experience in corporate, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus.
