Role Responsibility

To carefully move resources including equipment, materials and supplies as directed

Our Porters will be multi skilled, Flexible, adaptable and work as part of a team but have the ability to work on their own.

Porters will be required to carry out classroom, office and accommodation moves.

Waste removal.

Driving.

The Ideal Candidate

Ability to work alone or part of a team
Ability to work under pressure to meet daily output requirements
Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
Demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
Hold full clean driver’s license, however allowances may be made depending on offences committed

Package Description

We are recruiting a full time permanent Porter to work at the University of Greenwich, Avery Hill Campus.

The hours of work are 40 per week Monday to Friday, occasional evenings and weekends will be required. Applicants must be willing to travel to other campuses in London and Kent on an occasional basis.
