Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Cleaner to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

This role primarily focuses on the cleaning of equipment and dust extraction units within the plant room areas of the manufacturing facility. You will be working as part of a team servicing these units in line with production requirements.

It will be your responsibility to ensure all units are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the correct standards as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

You will also be responsible for ensuring the surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy as part of your role.

Main duties & requirements

Ensure units are cleaned as per SOP, Risk Assessment and Training

Maintain accurate cleaning logs to demonstrate what activity has been completed during your shift.

Ensure all surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy as per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Ensure all equipment used is kept clean and tidy

Use approved cleaning chemicals in appropriate manner

Comply with all safety instructions at all times, as per training

Report any defects to the facilities team

Package Description

Night shift role, 37.5hrs per week, good rate of pay.

Full training and development provided for right candidate with excellent scope for future progression.
