As a Patient Dining Host at Nuffield Health the Holly Hospital, High Road, Buckhurst Hill IG9 5HX , you’ll play an important role in delivering delicious meals and a positive experience to patients, staff, and visitors. Your cheerful attitude and friendly interactions can brighten someone’s day and bring comfort during challenging times.

What You’ll Do:

  • Probe, record, and complete all temperatures/paperwork daily; sign accordingly.

  • Complete the daily cleaning schedule and sign off.

  • Communicate professionally with the Chef on duty regarding food requirements to minimize waiting times and reduce wastage.

  • Adhere to legislation, client, and company policies related to patient meal service.

  • Clear down and clean all work areas before the end of the shift.

  • Serve patients and visitors politely and efficiently.

  • Report all dietary requirements to the Chef and ensure they are strictly followed.

  • Maintain and refill coffee machines if required.

  • Ensure patients have fresh drinking water available at all times unless otherwise instructed.

  • Conduct meal services with attractive meal presentation and adhere to specific portion size requests.
