PA to HR Director UK & Ireland

Join us and help us build on our success, as you support the current HR Director UK & Ireland as she develops the global HR Services organisation as Group HRD from 1st September 2015. Providing organised and efficient PA support to a key member of both the UK and Ireland exec team and global HR leadership team.

Role Responsibility

This role involves supporting the HR Director UK & Ireland and in the future the Group HRD Global HR Services, providing support across all PA responsibilities from composing letters, putting together reports, collating presentations, booking meetings and arranging travel both in the UK and internationally. The role will also include liaising across the wider global HR community and taking proactive actions to ensure all relevant information is collated and organised and provided to this role  in an appropriate manner. The role involves building positive and constructive relationships across the Global HR Services team as well as the Group teams in our head office in Paris and regional offices globally as they evolve. It is imperative that relationships are also built across the PA team and the person is keen to take on a broad range of activities and has a delivery focused mindset. The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience as a PA to Director level
  • Ideally qualified to RSA111level
  • Excellent typing skills. Intermediate knowledge of the following packages: MS Office; ( Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio)
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to articulate self verbally and in writing, including taking and compilation of meeting minutes and actions.
  • Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with ability to prioritise and schedule work under conflicting pressures
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of discretion, tact and confidentiality
  • Previous experience in booking and organising complex Global  travel arrangements
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and support HR Director UK & Ireland and Global HR Services out of hours as required.
  • Ability to speak French and ideally another language at least at a basic level
  • A can do attitude and a sense of humour, calm and balance
